Free Games and Programs at Mother's Day Market

To celebrate Mother's Day, Heifer HK Read to Feed program is organizing its first-ever ‘Mother’s Day Market’ at Discovery Bay Main Plaza. Through participating the fun Quiz game and the dried flower bookmark DIY workshop, children can unleash their creativity and also express love to their mothers. The booth will also have a charity sale of quality Chinese and English books, aiming to encourage children to read more and broaden their horizons. On this special holiday, you are welcomed for a visit and create cherished family memories together!

Key Activities: Fun Quiz Game and Bookmark DIY Workshop

A fun quiz game where participants who answer the questions correctly or complete the related instructions can participate in the Dried Flower Bookmark DIY workshop for free. Children can write their heartfelt ‘Love messages’ on bookmarks as an opportunity to express their love to their mothers. Parents can also unleash their creativity with their children to create unique homemade pieces!

Charity Book Sale to Support Disadvantaged Smallholder Farmers

There will also be a charity sale of Chinese and English books, aiming to cultivate good reading habits in children and raise their awareness of poverty, expand their horizons while nurturing their compassion and care for others.

Through reading, not only can children share their love and care to those in need, but they can also support underprivileged families in Hong Kong and Mainland China, helping them achieve self-reliant.
